Safe Locks: Can I change the code of my electronic safe lock?

Yes, you can change the code, as long as you follow the manufacturer's manual.

All electronic lock combinations can be changed. When you receive the product, a fixed manufacturer code is set. The instructions on how to change this code are found in the manufacturer’s manual, which can be downloaded from our website.

For security reasons, SafeGear does not have a master code, so we advise you to be extra careful when changing the code of your electronic safe lock.

Always change the code with the door open and test it several times before locking the safe again!
