Panneaux de signalisation d'évacuation
Emergency exit signs and escape route signage are a legal requirement in all commercial, public, and multi-occupancy buildings. In a fire or emergency, the speed and reliability with which occupants can identify and follow an evacuation route is directly linked to the clarity and placement of exit signage — particularly in conditions of reduced visibility caused by smoke, power failure, or panic. A building that meets all other fire safety requirements but has inadequate or missing exit signage creates a serious and avoidable risk.
Safegear's emergency exit sign range is compliant with EN ISO 7010 and EN 1838, the European standard for emergency lighting and exit sign luminance requirements. The range includes photoluminescent signs that absorb ambient light and remain visible for hours after a power failure without any electrical supply — ideal for stairwells, corridors, and escape routes where mains-powered illumination cannot be guaranteed. LED-illuminated signs provide high-visibility active signage for primary escape routes and are available in maintained (continuously illuminated) and non-maintained (illuminated only on power failure) configurations. Self-adhesive vinyl signs are available for supplementary directional marking along escape routes.
Available in a variety of formats including single and double-sided hanging signs, wall-mounted signs, and overhead projecting signs — with directional arrow variants for corridors and junctions where the route to the nearest exit needs to be clearly indicated. Suitable for offices, schools, hospitals, hotels, retail premises, warehouses, public buildings, and any premises required to comply with fire safety evacuation regulations.
