Do you install floor safes and wall safes?

No, Safegear does not install floor safes or wall safes.

A freestanding safe is placed in the room and bolted to the floor or wall. A floor safe or wall safe is different: it is built into the floor or wall and surrounded by concrete. That is building work, and it needs to be done on site by a local craftsman, such as a builder or mason.

Before the work starts, give your craftsman:

  • the safe's outer dimensions (see Specifications on the product page)
  • the installation instructions that come with the safe
  • a note to check for pipes, cables and underfloor heating before cutting or digging

If you are building or renovating, plan the safe in early. It is easiest to install while the floor or wall is being built.

A floor or wall safe only gives its full protection when it is installed correctly. Incorrect installation can also void the warranty.
