STC

The STC is a certified key cabinet, tested to EN 1143-1 Grade 1 and certified by ECB•S in Germany, holding 128 to 896 keys on pull-out key walls. Four cabinet bodies run from 125 to 341 litres.

Certified Grade 1 key storage

Keys are worth what they open, which is why a key cabinet is worth certifying — a rack of building or property keys behind a thin door is a faster route into a building than any single lock on it. The STC is independently tested for burglary resistance to EN 1143-1 rather than rated by its own maker. What you can insure inside depends on your policy and your market, so confirm the sum with your insurer.

Choosing your STC

Capacity is quoted in keys rather than litres, from 128 to 896 across the range, and the Kombi models combine key walls with shelves for A4 binders and valuables. Cabinets stand 1,400 to 1,550 mm high on a constant 420 mm depth. Choose a key lock with two keys, a single-user code lock or a 90-user code lock with emergency key, in Graphite Grey RAL 7024 or Light Grey RAL 7035. Every cabinet is prepared for anchoring to the floor or rear wall. For car keys and bulky key fobs, choose the STL AS car key safe, whose longer hooks are spaced for vehicle keys.
