KWT Grade 1

The KWT Grade 1 is a certified gun safe range, tested to EN 1143-1 Grade 1 and certified by ECB•S in Germany, for handguns, ammunition and valuables. Four sizes run from 16 to 84 litres.

Certified Grade 1 firearms storage

Every KWT Grade 1 safe is independently tested for burglary resistance to EN 1143-1 rather than rated by the company that built it, and is approved for storing handguns together with ammunition. Grade 1 is a step above the KWT Grade 0 range in the same family, so the two lines let you match the grade to what your licensing authority or insurer asks for without changing cabinet style. Requirements for storing licensed firearms are set by national law and differ between countries, so check what applies where you are. What you can insure inside depends on your policy and your market, so confirm the sum with your insurer.

Choosing your KWT Grade 1

Sizes run from 405 to 750 mm high, 400 to 500 mm wide and 270 to 420 mm deep — compact safes for a wardrobe, a cupboard or a fixed position in a utility room rather than full-height gun cabinets. The KWT 1100 and 2100 have one movable shelf and the KWT 3100 and 4100 two. From the KWT 2100, holders for four or five handguns can be added, taking up to 4, 10 or 15 handguns. Choose a key lock with two keys or a single-user electronic code lock, with a 90-user code lock from the KWT 3100, in Graphite Grey RAL 7024 or Light Grey RAL 7035. Every safe can be bolted down to the floor and rear wall.
