The Fire Star Plus is a fireproof data safe offering enhanced interior capacity and certified data media fire protection for organisations with larger physical backup media inventories or mixed document and data storage requirements. Building on the compact Fire Star, the Plus model provides a greater interior volume suited to IT departments, server rooms, and businesses that maintain multiple backup drives, archive discs, or a combination of data media and paper documents requiring fire protection in a single unit.

Certified to NT Fire 017-60 Dis or equivalent data media standards, the Fire Star Plus maintains interior temperatures below 50°C and relative humidity below 85% throughout the rated fire duration — the conditions required to preserve hard drives, flash storage, optical discs, and magnetic tape from the thermal and humidity damage that would destroy them in a standard fireproof document safe. This certification distinguishes it clearly from document-grade fireproof safes, which would provide insufficient protection for digital media despite superficially similar fire resistance claims.

Available with key or electronic lock in multiple sizes, the Fire Star Plus is suitable for offices, IT departments, broadcast and media facilities, and any environment where the volume of physical backup media or archive storage exceeds what the compact Fire Star can accommodate, but where a full-size data media cabinet is more than required.
