Data Plus

The Data Plus is a fireproof data safe designed to protect digital storage media — including hard drives, USB drives, memory cards, and optical discs — from destruction in a fire. The fundamental requirement that distinguishes a data safe from a standard fireproof document safe is the interior tolerance specification: digital media can be permanently destroyed at temperatures and humidity levels that leave paper intact. The Data Plus addresses this by maintaining interior conditions within the strict tolerances required to preserve magnetic and optical data carriers throughout a fire event.

Certified to NT Fire 017-60 Dis or equivalent data media fire protection standards, the Data Plus maintains interior temperatures below 50°C and relative humidity below 85% during 60 minutes of fire exposure — the conditions required to preserve hard drive platters, flash memory, optical discs, and magnetic tape from thermal and humidity damage. This makes it the appropriate choice wherever digital backups, archive media, or critical data storage devices represent assets that cannot be replaced from another copy or recreated from other sources.

The Data Plus range is available in multiple sizes to match different backup media volumes — from compact models for a small number of drives to larger units for organisations with substantial physical media archives. Suitable for offices, server rooms, IT departments, broadcast facilities, and any environment where the loss of physical backup media in a fire would represent an unacceptable operational or compliance risk.
